Try to go early in the morning for the coolest weather, fewer crowds, and the best chance of spotting active wildlife.

• Get a guide at the gate: Guides are available right there and they are a must-have for the ground trails, sharing fascinating facts about the trees, history, and wildlife.

• Wear secure footwear: You will be climbing stairs to reach the canopy and walking on uneven forest paths, so leave the sandals at home and wear sturdy sneakers or hiking shoes.
