Caradise Ghana Drives World Future Council Delegation During Accra Working Visit

Caradise Ghana has successfully facilitated the transportation and SUV rental needs of the World Future Council delegation during their 2-day working visit to Accra, Ghana.

The team got to cruise in our chauffeur-driven Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, equipped with air-conditioning and complimentary in-vehicle WiFi, as they made their way across the capital for a series of high-level stakeholder engagements.

Leading the delegation was Lena Dente, who heads the energy-focused work at the World Future Council, bringing with her a wealth of experience spanning the World Economic Forum, the World Energy Council, and the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership. Alongside her was Ramana Shareef, a passionate advocate for climate justice and inclusive energy solutions, who has worked with organisations including the African Centre for Energy Policy and GIZ to drive impactful change across West Africa.

Over the course of their visit, the delegation called on the Ministry of Energy and Green Transformation, Parliament, and the Ministry of Water, Works and Housing, engagements that reflect the Council's ongoing commitment to advancing renewable energy policy on the African continent. The visit follows Ghana's recent recognition on the global stage, where the country emerged as a compelling case study in governance-driven renewable energy transition at the IRENA Legislators and Regulators Forum in Abu Dhabi, a forum in which the World Future Council's Global Renewables Congress, led in part by Ramana Shareef, played an active role.
